005 – DEUTSCH: ( english version further down )

Was soll ich sagen. Heute ist der Tag der Tage. Das wofür sich all die Arbeit, Geduld, Mühe, Ausdauer und all die bangen Nächte ( klappt das wirklich alles, was wenn nicht, wovon soll ich morgen leben, wie sag ich’s meinen Kindern ) am Ende dann so gelohnt haben. DANKE!

Heute habe ich die finale Zusage der Förderung des Bundes erhalten. Zusätzlich zur Förderung durch das Land NRW ( Film- und Medienstiftung NRW ) und die über Investoren erhaltenen Eigenmittel haben wir jetzt genau das Budget ( auf den € geplant ) das für meine Vorstellung von “of pawns & kings” benötigt wird.
Das ist tatsächlich mehr oder weniger unbeschreiblich und vermutlich nur schwer für andere so zu schildern, wie es für mich gerade jetzt ist. Diese Bestätigung, meinen Traum nie aufgegeben zu haben und meinen Kinder jetzt sagen zu können, dass man wenn man nur hart genug an seinem Traum arbeitet, dieser dann auch wirklich wahr werden kann. Das kann mir niemand mehr nehmen.
So und jetzt wird gefeiert …… ne, was ist das denn Corona-Test positiv …*%&@**’=?, *’$$%&%@€ …
Tja, so kanns kommen. Ab in die Quarantäne …

P.S. Es hätte tatsächlich keinen Plan B gegeben. Da es sich um eine kumulative Förderung durch Bund und Land mit 30% Eigenkapital handelt – hätte nur eine der 3 Komponenten nicht geklappt, wäre das ganze Projekt gestorben und ich im finanziellen Chaos, Arbeitslosigkeit und psychischem Ausnahmezustand gelandet. Gut das ich da nicht mehr drüber nachdenken muss!

Also lasst mich hier einmal ganz herzlich meinen immer geduldigen, immer freundlichen und sehr sympathischen Betreuen bei Bund und Land danken, die mir geholfen haben mich durch die Formulare und Anträge zu arbeiten. Ihr wart großartig !

Meinen Freunden, die mich durch schwere Zeiten getragen haben und das fast im wahrsten Sinne des Wortes. Ohne Euch wäre ich vermutlich nicht mehr der Mensch der ich bin und immer sein wollte. Danke !

Meine Investoren, die anscheinend an den Erfolg des Spiels glauben ( oder mich einfach nur endlich wieder los werden wollten 🙂 ) Was haben mich die endlosen Diskussionen und Preisverhandlungen Nerven gekostet ( Ja genau, ich meine Dich 🙂 ) Mögt Ihr alle ein vielfaches Eurer Investition herausbekommen. Ihr seid die größten !

005 – ENGLISH

What can I say? Today is the day of days. That for which all the work, patience, effort, perseverance and all the anxious nights (will it really work, what if not, how will I live tomorrow, how will I tell my children) were worth it in the end. THANK YOU!

Today I received the final confirmation of the federal funding. In addition to the funding from the state of NRW ( Film- und Medienstiftung NRW ) and the own funds received through investors, we now have exactly the budget ( planned to the € ) needed for my performance of “of pawns & kings”.

This is really more or less indescribable and probably hard to describe for others the way it is for me right now. This confirmation that I never gave up on my dream and that I can now tell my children that if you work hard enough on your dream, it can really come true. Nobody can take that away from me.

So now we celebrate …… ne, what is that then Corona test positive …*%&@**’=?, *’$$%&%@€ …

Well, that’s how it can happen. Off into the quarantine …

P.S. In fact, there would have been no plan B. Since it is a cumulative federal and state funding with 30% equity – had only one of the 3 components not worked, the whole project would have died and I ended up in financial chaos, unemployment and mental emergency. Good that I no longer have to think about it!

So let me thank here once quite cordially my always patient, always friendly and very sympathetic responsible persons with federation and country, which helped me to work me by the forms and applications. You were great !

To my friends, who carried me through hard times and that almost in the truest sense of the word. Without you I probably wouldn’t be the person I am and always wanted to be. Thank you !

My investors, who seem to believe in the success of the game ( or just wanted to get rid of me 🙂 ) What have the endless discussions and price negotiations cost me nerves ( Yes exactly, I mean you 🙂 ) May you all get out a multiple of your investment. You are the greatest !
